Sufism and Sufi breathing was all new to me when I first came across this book. But due to some reasons which are quite inexplicable, I was quite intrigued to read this and give it a try and I feel myself lucky for taking that decision as it became my first step of the spiritual awakening.
I always get a rough idea about a non-fictional book by reading its table of contents as I strongly believe that it’s what gives a clear summary for the reader what to expect in the book. I should say that I was highly impressed with this book with my very first glance at it. It clearly depicted all topics which would be covered in the pages followed and instantly won my faith. The topics were brilliantly organized in an order which would lead any layman understand the content without extra efforts.
The story in the very beginning is a wonderful addition according to me. For it sparked my mind to think upon the world and the happenings and its link to the forces of nature in a much more reasonable way. The step by step guidance and the vast knowledge which is bestowed by just few pages is very appreciative.
The book really encouraged me to practice these techniques. I would love to read and learn more about this and change my life into better. The author has done a marvelous job in writing a well detailed book on a subject which is vast and complicate. As it says in the book, “The teacher or guide is of basic importance in Sufi spirituality”, and I believe that the Gone Spiritual is a good first step for a spiritual journey.
Giving the book 5 stars, not because I’m generous in rating but it truly deserves high credits. I invite all to read and enlighten yourselves and try practicing this supreme technique to make your life stronger and better.
Ending the note with a line the book which I found quite inspiring. Of course this is just a one out of many such present in the book.
“You don’t have to read books or attend lectures to learn the truth. It’s inside you. All you need to do is wipe the windows of your Heart clean, and the Light will start shining through.”
